Parker Pen Fountain

Don't let the low price fool you. Parker's I.M. is a fine writing instrument engineered in high-quality metal. The Parker I.M. fountain pen smartly re-works Parker's skillfulness in matching form with function. From it is iconic arrow clip to it is brushed metal grip, Parker has cautiously redesigned each detail to reject superfluous detail in favor of comfort, practicality and intelligence. The Parker IM's contemporary tapered shape meets the versatile appeal of metal in a progressed retake of Parker's style.

By D. Bartz
I have a parker than cost $50. Comparing the two, this one isn't as nice on the outside but it writes just as well. This one didn't cost $50 so I am not afraid to carry it with me everywhere. Also being a college student I write a lot, and I have swapped to writing with ONLY this pen. I don't even carry ball points with me anymore. Super easy to change cartridges when you need to and they last. I will say that I think going with a converter and bottle is much for less as far as refills go, but I personally use the cartridge sticks as they are posing no difficulty to keep in my backpack. THe pen has a good remainder and feels very natural and comfortable in the hand. I have employed it to write for a hours without stopping and still use it which speaks a lot. I will say that because it is an ink pen, not gel (like ballpoint pens) that you ought to be conscious that ink soaks into paper, as opposed to drying on top. What this means is that if you are using thin notebook paper you will probably need to write on only one side rather of two. Highly commend if you want to try out a fountain pen.

I got it as the second pen. It's made for littler hands, my hands are small, so it's perfective for me. Nice weight, on heavier side. Glides threw the paper easy and even. Starts instantly. I love it !

I have not so long ago purchased the pen as a Christmas gift. The pen has not been applied extensive yet, so likely my judgment might be premature. The pen is not light, I mean it has it is own weight. It presents nice. Writing is smooth, the ink goes through it instantaneously. I wish it had a converter included so the ink from a container could be used rather of refills. And also other colors would be welcome (e.g. dark blue).

So far so good.

I received this pen as a 20th anniversary gift. Apparently, Platinum is the gift of choice for such an anniversary. I love pens but I tend to not like metallic pens because the weighting and feel is often too heavy. But, I love this pen. It is light and well balanced in my hand. It likewise writes very smoothly. I also am struck by it is subtle pattern that seems just right. It gives it texture without getting overwhelming. I may see the texture, but cannot feel it when I hold the pen, which strikes me as just with regards to perfect.

star50 tpng Fountain Pens DiscountA smooth writer and a great pen!
By Linda
I use fountain pens everyday, so I know what I am talking about: This is a great fountain pen for each day writing -- one that you will not care gets lost or damaged due to it is very low price (unlike the intermediate (non fixed edition) fountain pens, which may cost over $100 -- and once in a while much more). The Pilot Varsity pen lays down a outstanding fine-to-medium line of ink, and the nib (IE: the writing tip) does not arid out too fast when left uncapped -- and the pen seems to write evermore with it is huge internal ink reservoir. Fantastic buy; and with no muss-'n-fuss of having to refill the pen either!

star50 tpng Fountain Pens DiscountOne of a kind fountain pens
By F. Sayed-Ahmad
Simply put, these pens are amazing. They rival a lot of of the best ball point pens I have ever applied because they have such smooth writing. The thickness of a line is perfective and this pen provides a very consistent amount of ink (not runny). However, I would advise you to store the pen in an upright position (nib pointing up) because the other way makes more or less more ink to flow through. The ink dries up speedily and does not smear...the colors are very bright as well. Also, I have employed the pen for a while now and the ink has not runned out quickly. These pens are outstanding for those who have costly fountain pens but do not want to use them all the time. Plus, they get a lot of attention at school. Bottom line, these are outstanding quality and cheap pens.

star50 tpng Fountain Pens DiscountDiscover the Joy of writing with a Fountain Pen!
By William L. Brady
This is a very inexpensive way to find out what fountain pens are all about. If you are not a newby but don't use FPs any longer, discover improvements made in recent years. Noodlers ink, for example, becomes permanent when it hits the fibers in paper, is water soluable in your pen. So get in there with these outstanding disposable pens!
