Waterman is the more prestigious brand - don't know if it is better.
Much better ( but also more expensive) is "Mont Blanc" and a close second is "Pelican"

Which are the best calligraphy fountain pen brands?
I already own a sheaffer calligraphy fountain pen, but it is too old now, and I want to buy a new calligraphy pen set.
I already checked Lamy, Sheaffer, Pilot, and some others.....but it is hard to decide in the Internet.
Could someone recommend me a good calligraphy fountain pen set? (good quality and not soo expensive)

i suggest going with pilot i have just recently bought a set and they work great.

Fountain pens?
I am an avid collector of fountain pens since i was 10, and i currently own fountain pens from Parker, Pelikan, Montblanc, and Sheaffer. If anyone is willing to donate a parker 61 to my collection I would appreciate it. Yea i know no one wants to give out free fountain pens but whatever.......
It never hurts to ask does it. I mean you never know.
